About Leah

If I could use three words to describe my personality, I would choose the words fun, empathetic, and intentional. I believe that every child needs to be seen, loved, and cared for. Children have so much potential, and, when we give them the time, attention, and the appropriate boundaries they need, they can thrive. I'd like to find a family who needs a part-time caregiver for one child. I hope to serve both the child and parents to the very best of my abilities. I've been able to care for children both formally and informally for several years. In my spare time, I enjoy playing music, dancing, serving in my church, spending time with my friends and family, cooking/baking, and hiking. A couple things you should know about me: I have a heart for music and teaching children music, and I am CPR certified. My skills include clear communication, flexibility and patience when problems arise, and education in early child development.
