About Leah

Hello! I am very passionate about working with children. I began babysitting children at age 14, and moved to a daycare setting at age 16. I now have over 7 years of experience working with children. I currently work in the Autism Day Program and Medical Child Care programs, and have been there for the past year and a half. Through my time at, I have gained a plethora of experience with children with special health care needs, and navigating through difficult behaviors. I value learning experiences, and learning through play. I love to implement sensory activities, crafts, gross motor activities, and outdoor time when working with children. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and have supplemental trainings to support my passion of working with children. I am currently studying elementary education and hope to work with you soon!
