About Leah

Hi Berkeley! My name is Leah - I am a nanny and house manager, and I'm here to keep the wheels greased for you. I have experience as a teacher in an after school program, and I've organized for institutions such as Harvard and GovAI. (The kids are much more fun, though.) I love hands-on activities! Learning is done best while simultaneously sparking creativity and showing children what they are capable of. Though I leave exact guidelines up to parents, I take a limited approach to screentime. However, I recognize the importance of being able to critically navigate the digital landscape - some of my favorite projects with students have been short films of their own. I'm big on explaining why and avoiding punitive approaches. Lastly, I am comfortable and experienced with both neurodivergent and queer children. Looking forward to connecting!
