Hi! My name is Leah. My experience of babysitting has been for friends and family here and there throughout my life. I have worked childcare at a gym during the summer. However, previously as a student in the Therapeutic Recreation program during undergrad, I had over 1500 hours of experience working with different populations in many different settings. Most of the settings that I have volunteered for have been in after-school programs for children at risk, or volunteering for children with neurodiversity (Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, etc). Before grad school, I worked with adults with IDD for 3 years. I am a very compassionate, loving, & go with the flow individual. I truly enjoy being around kids and can easily keep up with the energy. I am very adventurous & love to travel and try new things. I have gotten good at arts and crafts after volunteering at many different settings for Therapeutic Recreation.
