I'm a nurturing and experienced mother of three aged 15-19. I have 7 months experience as a nanny/house manager for a family in Upper Kirby, but would like to find a new family for a better fit. I have 1. 5 years experience as a certified elementary art teacher (PK - 5th) in Katy ISD plus 2 years as an elementary substitute in public schools. I was also a Middle and Upper School sub at Kinkaid for 2 years. My husband is a teacher there and my kids attend Kinkaid as well. In addition to my teaching background, I've spent many years volunteering in children's ministries at church, which has deepened my skills working with preschool and elementary-aged children. I love being outdoors and enjoy activities like soccer, tennis, frisbee, and baseball. I hope to support a family that values reliability, kindness, and care--knowing their children are in safe, capable hands with someone who truly cares about their well-being and future.

Leah was a kind and caring nanny; and with her teacher’s background was great at engaging with the children and coming up with fun art and crafting projects for them to stay busy. She kept a daily plan outlined and I loved how she’d invite my kids to participate in the daily routine with curiosity and humor. She would make great breakfasts and would invite the kids “to come see” the creative and cute pancakes (or whatever was made that day). She was also responsible for getting kids ready for school in the morning, driving to and from school and all of the afterschool activities. Helped with keeping the house tidy, laundry and cooking family meals.
