About Leah

I'm a nurturing and experienced mother of three aged 15-19. I have 1. 5 years experience as a certified elementary art teacher (PK - 5th) in Katy ISD plus 2 years as an elementary substitute in public schools. I'm now seeking opportunities outside public education. I was also a Middle and Upper School sub at Kinkaid for 2 years. My husband is a teacher there and my kids attend Kinkaid as well. In addition to my teaching background, I've spent many years volunteering in children's ministries at church, which has deepened my skills working with preschool and elementary-aged children. I love being outdoors and enjoy activities like soccer, tennis, frisbee, and baseball. I hope to support a family that values reliability, kindness, and care--knowing their children are in safe, capable hands with someone who truly cares about their well-being and future.
