About Leah

Hi! I am a recent UCLA honors graduate with several years of experience working with children through childcare, tutoring, teaching, and youth sports coaching. I've tutored middle school math and science for four years, volunteered weekly teaching English in an ESL childcare for two years, and coached children across several sports and age groups. I love getting to know each child individually and creating a fun, encouraging environment where they feel comfortable being themselves. I'm happy to help with homework and tutoring, activities and play, meals, transportation, and everyday routines. I have extensive emergency-response training and experience, including formal BLS, CPR, and EMR training. I also serve as a medical services officer in the U. S. Army Reserves. I'm currently looking for a part-time recurring position with a local family, and I have a flexible schedule. I'd love to find a family where I can become a consistent and dependable part of their routine!
