About Leah

I love working with kids because I can't imagine my life without children in it. I've literally been around kids and babies my whole life, and I think it's become more of a need than a want. It's something I'm good at, and something I thrive on doing. I'm looking for a job that provides me with consistency and allows me the chance to build meaningful connections. I started working with kids *on my own* when I was 15. I've always helped adults babysit, or had the responsibility of caring for kids while adults were in the house, but my first solo paid job was at 15. In my spare time, I like to create music and fiction. I'm an author and a musician, and my "hobbies" have long since become passions. This is particularly thanks to my love of learning, which enables me to peruse my arts with knowledge as well as zeal.
