About Leah

I'd describe my personality as adaptable, positive, and eager. I like tutoring because I understand how hard it can be for things to just not make sense and no matter how much people "explain" it, nothing makes sense. I like to be able to find different approaches to help people finally comprehend and apply what they have tried so hard and struggled to understand. I'm looking for a job that not only acknowledges that I'm there for a reason and most likely know what I'm explaining, but also that I, too, make mistakes. I am happy to help kids who hate their subject maybe learn to like it and help those who love it continue to thrive. I started tutoring when my little brother stopped understanding his assignments at school. Right now, I only help family members (mainly cousins), but I am excited to tutor and help others. In my spare time, I like to bake, spend time with family, read, crochet, teach my dog tricks, practice clarinet, and do stuff with friends.
