About Leah

Hi! I graduated from Hillcrest Academy in Kalona, Iowa and am originally from the area. I am graduating from Central College in Pella this May with a degree in Kinesiology and Education, and I will be starting a teaching position in August. I am also getting married this fall! I have over six years of experience caring for children ranging from 8 months to 13 years old, including part-time experience working in a daycare setting. I am passionate about staying active and engaged with children and love creating a fun, safe, and positive environment. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, board games, reading, crafts, baking, and anything that encourages creativity and connection. I am happy to provide references and answer any questions you may have, and I would love to share more about my experience.
