About Leah

Hi! My name is Leah and I am a rising senior at UC Berkeley. I am a psych major, and am especially passionate about child development psychology. I have extensive expierence working with kids of all ages. I am currently an intern at UCLA's Center for Scholars and Storytellers, researching how media impacts child development particularly through stereotypes. I have also worked as a kids tennis instructor, camp counselor, art teacher, babysitter/nanny, volunteer, tutor and more. As a research assistant at Berkeley, I run behavioral experiments with kids and have plenty of knowledge on how children form beliefs about the world around them, and how they should best be supported to encourage their cognitive and emotional development. I connect really well with kids and I genuinely love interacting with them as I have a very upbeat and engaging personality. Moreover, I am passionate about the things I commit to and consider myself highly reliable, flexible, and dependent.
