About Layla

Hello Families! My name is Layla and I am 21 years old. I am a recent Spelman College graduate who loves kids. I currently work for Weinburg Elementary School as an assistant teacher for the infant room. Although I currently work with babies up to 12 months, I have about 8 years of experience with kids of all ages. From 2015-2019 I worked at Maryland State Gymnastics as a gymnastics and tumbling coach for kids ages three - 18. Throughout my matriculation of Spelman College I've volunteered with kids at the Children's museum of Atlanta, assisting with events such as the tiny convention. Plus, I have a little brother who I watched and took care of until he was of age. My favorite activities to do while babysitting are arts and crafts, hide and seek, and building forts.
