About Layla

Hi, I'm Layla! An Ojai native who loves working with kids and enjoying the outdoors as much as possible. I have been in childcare since 2011. My journey first started as I nannied for a family I am still close with. Over the years I've coached multiple youth sports, taught preschool, lead summer camps, and was a Para educator with special education in severe needs. I have fully enjoyed all my experiences and have learned so much. Kids remind you of the present and to dream about the future. Over the years I worked on my studies, focusing on social and emotional behavioral sciences. Currently working on earning my teaching credentials and aspire to become an occupational therapist down the road. In my off time I enjoy trail running, hiking, roller skating, and camping. Listening to a podcast or audiobook fill my cup too. Last but not least, I love spending time with my friends and family! Thank you for taking the time to read about me.
