About Laylani

Hi! My name is Laylani, and I'm a sophomore at Florida State University. I've babysat throughout high school, nannied over the summer, and worked as a camp counselor for children with special needs, so I'm very comfortable and confident working with kids of all ages. I'm also a sister to a sibling with autism, which has taught me patience, empathy, and how to adjust to different needs and personalities. Even though I'm in school, my schedule is flexible, and I'm always willing to work with families to find times that fit best. I'm fun, creative, and great at coming up with engaging activities, but I also respect household routines and make sure kids feel safe, happy, and understood. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children and love pets as well. I have my own car and can help with pick-ups, drop-offs, errands, or giving parents a well-deserved night out. I can also cook and help with light cleaning or laundry when needed!
