About Layla

My name is Layla, and I'm currently a college student entering my sophomore year, majoring in Health Administration. Working with children has always been a passion of mine. Ever since I was little, I've loved being around kids and helping take care of them. I grew up babysitting my younger cousins for my Tías and Tíos, which taught me patience, creativity, and responsibility from a young age. As I got older, I started gaining more hands-on experience through jobs at summer camps and summer schools. For the past few years, I've worked at a camp/summer school program in Redwood City, primarily with kindergarteners and first graders. I've planned fun activities, helped with homework, supervised playtime, and made sure every child felt safe and supported. I'm responsible, caring, and enthusiastic-and I always strive to create a fun, engaging, and nurturing environment for the kids I care for.
