I like working with kids because it's so fun to see their personalities and skills develop over time and know that I had a part in helping them. I started working with kids when I became an afterschool program coordinator for United Way. I then switched to a job at a licensed childcare center and was a lead infant teacher, and now I am currently a full time nanny planning on moving to Dallas in June! One thing you should know about me is that I am super reliable! My skills include remaining calm in stressful situations, multitasking, and using child development knowledge to help little ones develop and remain safe while doing so. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have a Bachelor's degree in human development and family science as well!
Layla cared for my daughter from 4 months to 10 months old and is so kind, patient, and easy going. My daughter did not easily stick to schedules or go down for naps without me easily, but Layla was able to figure out how to support her and get her napping. She was also very accommodating of breastfeeding and had great communication about feeding.
