About Layla

I am a sophomore co-taught English teacher looking for some tutoring to do over the summer. I work with all types of students with differing levels of skills. My goal is to make sure that I do whatever is needed to get your student they help they need to be successful. I try to incorporate many different learning techniques that match what helps your student whether that is through visuals, verbally, or through hands on activities. I am greatly familiar with individualized learning plans and 504s and do great with building strong student teacher relationships to ensure the student feels safe while being taught criteria they are struggling with. I have been working with students for many years and have experience with a wide range of ages from elementary school up to upper classmen in high school through various jobs like summer camps, after school care/tutoring, teaching, and volunteer programs. I would love to be able to help your student be successful in whatever way you see fit.
