When working in childcare some of my favorite experiences have been working with special needs and/or disabled children. I love nurturing bonds with the kids in order to gain trust as well as a good relationship with the parents. I know that each kid works and communicates differently so finding the best way to accommodate your child and their needs. I have babysat for special needs children before as well as done volunteer work at schools in special needs classrooms or departments.
