About Layla

Hi! I'm Layla, a UB graduate student with 10 years of childcare experience with children of all ages, including infants, multiples, children with special needs, and larger families. I have a B. S. in Health Sciences and experience as a pediatric medical assistant, preschool teacher, tutor, and children's cooking school assistant. I'm also CPR, First Aid, and BLS certified. I love learning what kids are interested in and finding fun ways to explore it with them. I've baked and cooked with kids, done crafts and science activities, grown microgreens, and even started a pizza garden where we grew tomatoes and herbs before making our own pizza from scratch! I'm also happy to help with homework, projects, parties, sleepovers, or everyday routines. Since moving to Buffalo, I'm excited to connect with new families and build lasting relationships here. I really value becoming someone kids are excited to see and parents feel comfortable trusting with their care.
