Hi! I am a Raleigh native and a student at Wake Tech. I have been working with children and children with disabilities for about 8 years now. I enjoy watching children's minds grow and getting the biggest smile out of them! I enjoy teaching and helping them learn skills to communicate, problem solve, and regulate their emotions. I love to dance so getting the little ones to find their groove is my favorite thing to do! My experience: Summer Camp Counselor for school aged children and children with disabilities for 3 summers. Caregiver for an adult with disabilities for 6 months. Practiced speech therapy exercises and self care skills daily. Early Childhood Educator in a toddlers classroom of 10 children for about 1. 5 years. Curriculum was play and project-based learning. Created daily activities for fine motor skills, self care, and sensory exploration. Nanny of an 8-month-old infant and 2-year-old toddler for about a year. Helped with night time routines.
