About Layla

Hi there! I'm Layla Ejlali and I'm a preschool teacher. I'm hoping to make a career shift towards nannying. My school emphasizes play-based learning with a child-centered approach. AKA I let children lead with their play and I join them to meet them at their level! I care about focusing on their physical development as well as the skills to communicate, problem solve, and regulate their emotions. I have 3 years of experience with toddlers (1-3 years old). I've worked with infants (4-12 months), older children, and I also have 5 years of work with disabled children & adults. I enjoy watching my students explore the world through their lens and seeing their personalities blossom as they grow! I'm a big fan of music, dancing, and arts & crafts! I am CPR certified too.
