About Layla

Unlocking a student's unique potential drives my passion for education. With three years of experience, I specialize in Math, Science, English, and test preparation for students from elementary through college levels. My approach focuses on building critical thinking skills by breaking complex problems into manageable steps and connecting concepts to your personal interests. I actively observe how you engage with new material to tailor my teaching strategies, whether through visual aids or hands-on practice. I prioritize clear, consistent communication with both students and parents to foster a collaborative environment. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I hold a college degree, as well as CPR training and First Aid. I am genuinely excited to help you gain confidence and reach your academic goals through our partnership.
