About Layla

Making a positive impact on children's lives is what I strive for! My six years of experience caring for children aged 4 and up have been incredibly rewarding. I'm a college graduate, and my background has provided me with a solid foundation for understanding child development. I have babysat on and off (between employment) since the COVID pandemic. Other positions I've held are: volunteering at a reading center for homeless children, tutoring grades Pre-K to high school, and working with nonprofit organizations that operate within schools across Chicago. I'm creative and love engaging kids with board games, puzzles, and various educational activities. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and pride myself on my communication skills. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I'm eager to bring my energy and experience to your family and help your children learn and grow!
