Hello, my name is Laycee I am 20 years old and currently studying Early Childhood Development with a focus on Special Needs. I am pursuing this degree after growing up seeing my stepbrother be misdiagnosed and diving into the world of how and why and learning better ways to help him get through everyday life. I recently moved to Florida and will be here until early June, I've had experiencing working with multiple families long and short term who have children with learning disabilities. As well as volunteering at a facility in San Luis Obsipo, Ca there we did physical therapy as well as occupational therapy activities with the children. I love doing arts and crafts with kiddos, getting us outside for outdoor activities whenever possible. Most of all I love creating bonds with the kids I work with so we always have more fun than the time we did before. I love to find ways for children I work with to feel like I can be a helpful outlet to them, a positive addition to their day.
