About Lawrence

Hi there! My name is Lawrence but I go by LJ. I'm a professional Illustrator/designer, painter, and musician (singer songwriter) with a BFA in illustration from the California College of the Arts (CCA). I prioritize all aspects of mental, physical and emotional wellness and I believe that creative expression is an absolutely essential part of being human - it nourishes the soul and helps to create a balanced sense of learning in all other areas of life. I've been blessed with some great mentors that have supported my own creative evolution, and I look forward to sharing inspired approaches to creativity with your child through art and music. My tutoring instruction/guidance includes: painting/drawing techniques, how to think conceptually like an illustrator, art portfolio building, & guitar lessons.
