About LaViza

Hello! I bring over 10 years of experience working with children in a variety of roles- including babysitting for family and friends, working as an in-home behavioral therapist for children with autism, and as a mental health therapist. I'm calm, patient, and accepting by nature, and I truly enjoy connecting with children. What I love most about working with kids is being part of creating a safe, nurturing environment where they can grow, feel understood, and thrive. I also value the opportunity to support families and be a dependable part of the wider community. I'm skilled at helping children through tough moments, and I strive to truly listen and attune to their needs so they always feel seen, heard, and supported. Outside of work, I enjoy soaking up the sun with a good book, being in nature, enjoying a quiet movie in the theater, and being with my fiancé and bonus daughter.
