Laverne was a caregiver for my elderly second cousin in NY for almost 10 years. [I'm not sure about exact # of years] I cannot say enough good things about her. She was always reliable, and went beyond her job description to enhance the life of my cousin. She really cared about her as a person, and even spoke at her funeral. Laverne prepared meals and knew what my cousin's favorite foods and favorite food stores were. She accompanied her to doctors appointments and even to the emergency room once or twice. She alerted me when she thought there was a medical problem that I should know about. Communication was very good. You would be very lucky to hire Laverne for your caring needs!
