Lavardslyn has worked with my brother for 13 months. My brother was born with Downs Syndrome and has limited cognitive and verbal skills. Now that he is aging, 56 years old, he is loosing his sight, hearing and memory. Along with other health issues, he can be a challenge to care for. Lavardslyn has managed him well by taking the time necessary to communicate with him, by comforting hime when he gets frustrated and by caring for his basic needs. Lavardslyn has also assisted me as I learn how to care for my brother, teaching me techniques that make is care easier.
