Hi! I'm Lauryn, an experienced and compassionate caregiver with over 15 years of experience as a Direct Care Worker (DCW) in both agency and self-determination settings. I primarily enjoy working with children but am also comfortable supporting teens and young adults. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have previous MORC and medication training (currently lapsed but willing to renew). I have experience supporting individuals with a wide range of needs, including those on the autism spectrum. As someone who is neurodivergent myself, I bring patience, empathy, and a strong understanding of sensory and communication differences. I am also conversational in American Sign Language (ASL) and am continuing my education toward sign language interpretation, with experience in the Deaf and autism communities.
