About Lauryn

Hi! My name is Lauryn, and I'm currently a student at Sacramento State, only taking online classes, recently transferred from UC Berkeley. I love working with kids and creating a safe, fun, and positive environment for them. I have experience working with children through coaching youth cheer and youth softball, where I helped supervise, encourage, and support kids of different ages. I've always been around child care as my sister does that as well. Over the past year ive also been working in child care. I'm responsible, patient, energetic, and enjoy keeping kids engaged with activities, games, and outdoor play. I understand the importance of being dependable and making families feel comfortable while their children are in my care. I'm also organized, a good communicator, and able to help with routines, meals, homework, and keeping children entertained in a safe environment. I look forward to helping families and building positive relationships with both parents and kids!
