I am an aspiring Occupational Therapist with a passion for empowering and assisting individuals with disabilities to live a full and fulfilled life. I am very enthusiastic and love to build relationships with people! I have worked as a camp counselor at MDA camp for the past 2 years and have been responsible for various care taking tasks such as hygiene assistance, transfers/lifts, g-tube feeding, use of assistive technology, and seeing to other medical needs. I also work as an ABA therapist with both children and adults on the Autism Spectrum. I work with clients to enhance various skills such as social, academic, self-help, and behavioral. I have also worked as a Classroom Aide at the Nisonger Center, a daycare for children with disabilities. We focus on Early Intervention methods, along with ensuring the safety and inclusion of the children on a day to day basis. I am extremely passionate about helping individuals with disabilities to feel empowered & independent in their lives.
