About Lauryn
In addition to assisting with the care of my grandmother, I spent the last 18 months in school for occupational therapy. I learned about common diseases and conditions that accompany aging. I practiced transfers including getting in and out of bed and the shower. I learned about medication management and fall prevention. I also ran crafting activities at a senior community. I enjoy spending time with this population and appreciate all they have to teach me.
