I have over 10 years experience of being a personal care assistant, both in home and hospital setting. I understand the importance of communication to maintain rapport with my clients family making them aware of all physical and behavioral changes with their loved one, and to also include my client understanding they have a say in their care as well. My skill set includes medication reminders, preparing healthy meals and snacks as well as premade meals to have on their own. I provide personal hygiene care. Provide transportation and make sure to maintain a clean and safe environment. What's important to me is keeping my clients engaged and active. I will wave payment the first 3 hours of care because I understand compatibility being an important component in a caregiver/patient relationship
