I worked for and with Laurie in a residential setting for people with serious and persistent psychiatric illness and special needs. As a manager of the program and especially as a caregiver, her commitment to skilled, compassionate care was exemplary. I learned so much from her and her clients ADORED and trusted her. Laurie is very resourceful, dependable and has a special devotion and heart for this type of service to humanity. It's definitely a vocation, not just a job for her.
