About Laurie

Laurie has cared for our daughter for the past 2.5 years, and we couldn’t have asked for a more thoughtful, reliable, and nurturing caregiver. She has an incredible understanding of children and was always attentive to our daughter’s needs as well as ours as parents. She followed our guidelines with care, supported both academic and life‑skills learning, and consistently created a warm, compassionate environment. Laurie took initiative in setting monthly goals for our daughter, kept us updated on important milestones while we were at work, and regularly reviewed her developmental progress to plan activities that would help her grow. She took our daughter to the library, parks, and nature walks, and spent countless hours reading, crafting, baking, and cooking with her—experiences our daughter absolutely loved. Beyond childcare, Laurie helped with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and grocery pickups, and she approached every request with a positive attitude. She is flexible, honest, trustworthy, and truly a pleasure to work with. We are deeply grateful for the role Laurie has played in our daughter’s life and in our home.
