About Laurie

Hi! My name is Laurie . As a lead teacher, I've enjoyed the many children I've gotten to know over the years in my Pre-K classroom. I always tried to make a difference in their lives through knowledge, fun, interaction, and genuine concern for their well- being. For the past 8 years I've been a Nanny to a physician family with 2 children, a medium sized dog, and 2 cats! I started when the girl was 5. I saw her off for her first day of Kindergarten, and now she's 12. The boy was 2 at the time and is now 10. I performed multiple tasks for them, which surpassed those stated in my job description. The kids and I were always busy going to parks, playing outside, and finding fun things to do indoors. We even made cards during COVID, and put them in mailboxes to cheer people up! I love gardening, swimming , drawing, nature, and traveling, and helping others . I also love spending time with my family and friends. I look forward to getting to know you and your family!
