About Laurie

My name is Laurie. I have had my own cleaning business working outside of my home. Now that I have two kids, I prefer to work out of my home and babysitting is the best option for me to care for my kids at home as well as creating an income for my family. My passion for childcare stems from the meaningful impact I make on a child's development and the relief I provide to busy families. While caring for children in my home, I am also a mom of 2 (6-year-old son and 1. 5-year-old daughter) which informs my patient and calm approach to care. Whether we are playing outdoor sports, solving puzzles, or engaging in educational games, I strive to create a creative and imaginative environment for the children I care for. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure consistency. I prioritize clear communication, providing regular updates via text or phone calls to keep open communication.
