Laurie was prompt, courteous and professional in her response to my initial inquiry, and I was pleased to hire her twice to care for my mom, who has Parkinson's and onset dementia, 4-5 hours per day while I was away on travel. Laurie paid a visit to meet my mom in advance, and was great about following the guidelines I had written out to cover use of the kitchen, maintenance care for a pet cat, protocols for supporting my mom, and other domestic nuances. She was highly reliable in keeping me up-to-date on the status of each of her visits, and she went above the call of duty to contend with missing supplies and trash maintenance. Most importantly, she was a wonderful companion for my mom, engaging her in conversation, generating a lot of shared laughter, and demonstrating sensitivity and empathy all the while. I am pleased to recommend Laurie for anyone with similar needs, and I look forward to working with her again in the future.
