About Laurie

I can’t say enough great things about Laurie as a senior’s caregiver, whom we employed from April 2015-March 2016. She was a true godsend for my father and his wife when my father had a brain injury due to a fall. We needed in-home support for him and his wife who was suffering with symptoms of early onset dementia. Laurie was very skilled at understanding what they needed, and did everything from physical therapy, which helped my wheelchair bound father get strong enough for a walker, to grooming, toileting, appointment setting, driving, and some household chores. One of the biggest ways Laurie helped was in making sure my father’s medications were properly dosed, because neither he nor his wife could keep the medications straight. Not only was Laurie skilled at all aspects of senior care, but she was also enormously empathetic and understood how to communicate and get cooperation from my father and his wife. This was very challenging at times. Laurie won them over, and I will always be grateful for her help in extending my father’s life and happiness.
