About Laurie

I am a mother to two grown daughters. I provide a loving, caring atmosphere for the children I care for. I love teaching them and watching each day a new little something. I am a strong believer in books, music and art, not a fan of TV and such. I love being outdoors and watching the babies or children see something new everyday, whether it is a rock, squirrel or watching a plane fly over head. Families have often referred to me as a baby nurse. My passion is working with families helping them settle into their new life as parents of a newborn. I truly believe it takes a village to raise a child. Support is so important in the first year but really needed in those first three months. That is when sleep deprivation and all the questions new moms and dads often have. I like being able to help and guide them into the new normal. Give them the time to enjoy their new baby, their new roles as mom and dad. I have worked with families with one infant as well as multiples. twins and triplets. We hit the jackpot when a friend recommended Laurie to us. Not only is she flexible but she is also patient, loving and knowledgeable. It is so fun and refreshing to see how well she interacts with our little one. She makes him laugh when he needs entertaining and holds him close when he's tired and cranky. It is such a relief knowing that our baby is safe in the hands of someone who really knows what they're doing. Thank you Laurie for all that you do!
