I have experience with dementia patients in a private duty capacity. I do well with elders experiencing different dementias & enjoy the work, love my clients, even visiting them on my off hours on occasion. Its a very lonely disease. I have worked with beginning to late stage patients. Both in home & in a facility. I care very much about the people I work for & I am very patient, kind and put patients at ease with my demeanor. It feels good helping patients with dementia to have an easier time of it, as well as reassuring families. Regardless if they have just started experiencing it or they are in the throes of it, I am very capable, trustworthy & reliable. With one of my patients I was the only one to get her to sleep through the night every night that I was there. Always had a big heart for seniors..

Laurie is the best!! I've stayed in contact with her since the first time she helped me out with my three boys.She's on time, if not early every time; my children absolutely LOVE her, as do we because we've always felt like she's part of the family. She is great with the kiddos, she enjoys to read ,and she does creative and wonderful arts and crafts to decorate the house with. The kids love arts and crafts time with Laurie! She helped take care of my great aunt Josephine who had dementia as well in which auntie just loved her too!! Go team Laurie!
