I'd describe my personality as compassionate, friendly and a leader. I like caring for seniors because I have friends who are seniors. I care about their well-being. I love their stories of older times and find them to be fascinating. I care about their health. As a previous social worker for 20 years I at times was in a position to give resources to seniors. I also have experience dating back to when I was 21 caring for seniors. I have references upon request. I'm looking for a job that is in their home. I would like not to transport in my car. I have an SUV and it is harder for seniors to enter and exit. I do not mind driving someone else's car. I also do not mind helping with light housekeeping. I have experience in assisting baths, showers and transfers, feeding, changing clothes, wound care and medication management. I do not mind doing light housekeeping and meal preparation.
