I have 4 kids, 2 adults on the spectrum, 3 grandkids, 2 of which are on the spectrum. I have had the mandatory 40-hour aba training, but I did not find it that helpful in practical daily living. I cook, clean, and keep water driven escape artists at bay! I love music and feel great satisfaction in making someone else's day brighter! My poor Dad had frontal lobe dementia from West Nile disease at age 75 and I was one of his caregivers, so I am experienced at understanding how painful that is when it hits home and how much you want to protect your lived one. I love animals and was a trained nurse before breast cancer.
