About Laurie

I personally have 4 boys and a girl, with some grandkids! I started at 16 as a nanny for 2 preschool aged children. My mother did licensed home day care for 25yrs which I regularly helped with. By the time I was old enough to become her approved assistant under her license, she had to give up her business. I come from a long line of caregivers. I believe children should be active, learning, playing, exploring, getting outside and not put in front of a screen. I worked food service for a period so I have some kitchen skills. I am also not a fan of processing foods. Ultimately it's your child. I will do what it takes to make sure your kiddo feels safe, secure and cared for by your family standards and beliefs.
