About Laurie

I am a mother of three grown children and a new grandmother to one. My hobbies and interests include knitting, yoga, reading, cooking, and hiking. In April this year, my husband and I moved to our cabin in Mount Holly. At that time, I retired from my job at a public library in CT where I had worked for over 20 years in both the children's department, technical services, and circulation. In addition to my library work, I provided childcare services to several families, some for many years. Currently I am volunteering at two small libraries as well as with Green Mountain Neighbors which provides rides to seniors who no longer drive. I'm energetic and hard-working and would like to find some part-time work, caregiving to children or seniors. My past employers will be happy to provide a reference.
