About Laurie

We are so thankful to have found Laurie through Care.com! My husband and I offered her the overnight nanny position for our premature baby right after talking to her for the first time. Several candidates prior to Laurie did not feel like the right fit, but we knew right away she would take care of our baby. She has taken care of our sick baby through long nights of illness, allowing my husband and I to sleep with the peace of mind that she was caring for our boy like her own grandchild. She took on extra hours during times of sickness or when we really needed a break. Laurie is in constant communication with our family, providing updates on her time with our child. She reliably documents information about diapers and feeding in the Baby Tracker app as requested. Not once has she been late. We no longer need help overnight, but we didn’t want to part ways with Laurie so we now have her come one day per week. We are so thankful that has worked out with her schedule so that we didn’t have to fully give her up! When you find a caregiver like Laurie, you want to keep her in your child’s life!
