I'm a retired EMT I also attended nursing school and worked in the ER , CCU and urgent care . I enjoy caring for people and making them feel like they matter . I take my position serious and I treat them as I want to be treated and my family members . It's not easy finding someone to care for your loved ones when you have a job and children and other obligations that leave you in this position , I make sure that not only the client but family as well is comfortable knowing I will make sure they are safe and taken care of on my watch . I'm medication certified and familiar with medication and administration , I do light house keeping , cooking , shopping , errands , assist with bathing , companionship and multiple tasks needed . I'm reliable and trusting which is important to me .

Laurie was very considerate for any and all needs that my mom needed. She was very attentive to any medical needs that her doctor should know about. She would take my mom shopping and assist in preparing lunch for her. Laurie was great in engaging conversation and playing cards with mom. In the last few weeks of her life my mom asked Laurie for help in laying out what she wanted to wear, placing the prayer card to be used and other instructions for her funeral. This was the trust she had in Laurie. With the type of compassionate personnel care Laurie provided , she and mom developed a friendship that not only served my mother but also put the family's mind at ease.
