About Laure

Hello:) My name is Laure, I am a 20-year-old girl from the Netherlands, and currently living in Santa Barbara, for over a year already and staying longer! I love working with kids, I started working with kids when I was 12 years old. This was mostly babysitting my neighbours for a couple hours a day. When I turned 16 I babysat three families. I worked with the kids for over 2 years, at least two times a week. For one family I would also cook and do groceries plus cleaning and for the other family I would get the kids ready for school and make lunch. I also did volunteer work at a kindergarten in Sri Lanka for two months. This was amazing! I think one of my best skills, that kind of goes naturally for me, is that I easily level with kids. I have a creative and energetic personality myself, and I found that I get along with a lot of ages. I really think kids do like to be around me, that is mostly because I'm always trying to have fun and be happy.
