20 years of paid childcare experience, kind/attuned, and flexible support looking for my next family in the East Bay. I love children of all ages, and have been heavily influenced by Maria Montessori, Rudolf Steiner (Waldorf School), and Fred Rogers. One of my early goals in getting to know your family would be to understand your ethos and preferences, and support them. I believe strongly in empowering children to be attuned to their instincts and environments, play/explore within healthy boundaries, and to treat themselves and others with respect and care. TLDR on logistics: I'm comfortable helping with cooking, chores, errands, pets, the pre/postpartum periods, and other items as needed-happy to discuss the scope of what you're looking for. I live in Berkeley a short walk from the Downtown BART station, but do not currently have a car. I prefer to keep my evenings free, but can come as early as you need or stay later some nights-let's discuss.
