About Lauren

Hello! I'm a certified special education teacher with 11 years of experience and a mom to a 9-month-old. I'm looking to care for 1-2 additional children in a safe, nurturing home environment where kids can learn and grow together. Before teaching in public schools, I worked in several childcare centers, building a strong foundation in early childhood development, routines, and age-appropriate activities. My special education background allows me to support different learning styles, encourage communication, and create engaging, structured play. As both a teacher and a parent, I provide patient, attentive care with a focus on learning through play, positive guidance, and consistency. My goal is to create a warm, reliable "home away from home" where your child feels comfortable, supported, and happy each day.
