About Lauren

Hi, I'm Lauren - an experienced educator, mentor, and lifelong learner with a background in teaching, academic coaching, and creative learning support. I'm a proud Teach for America alum and former award-winning 8th grade science teacher. I ran a very successful pod school during Covid with six students, kindergarteners and third graders. Additionally, I have taught originally created curriculum to adults in health and history, for over the last five years. I was born to be a teacher, mentor, guide, and tutor and can teach a very wide range of subjects. I specialize in creating systems, buy in, and modeling meta -cognition. My goal is to teach students how to independently work and find their inner motivation and joy for learning.
